Shaken Not Stirred

As the days stretch on interminably, there are few things cheerier than spending a lunchtime in the sun with a dashing englishman with manners, a good tan and a nice tie.
For our second date we had lunch in a little laneway and every cynical bone in my body was primed to read between the lines and be on my guard for "player" antics. He's charming, very complimentary and well-rehearsed on pleasin' the ladies I feel. And there's also the naughty and suggestive side....which inspires my cheeks to ping and flush and for me to look away awkwardly which amuses him greatly. As I teetered next to his tall frame in my red heels and audrey hepburn skirt, I couldn't help but feel fluttery and a bit out of my depth. It's not reaching that point of what happens next as I've shut down some of his rather brazen attempts, but questioning whether I should start letting a few walls down and run with it.... Does one ignore that there is another woman in his life that I now know he works with, but seems to be a casual shag? The dating world is interesting...
