An english gentleman...

It's an interesting thing when you are seeking employment opportunities. You apply for a few things, lose faith in your abilities when you don't hear back from anyone. And then the phone rings and it's a rather conservative sounding englishman. So when you are waiting to be interviewed when you arrive at the office, it was a surprise to me that the voice on the phone was more youthful and vibrant in person. In fact...rather DASHING. Then the conversation turned to travel and his recent move to Australia and my interest in the job suddenly took a bit of a backseat. 2 days and thirty phone calls and sms's later, I'm beginning to think that this is the most attentive service I have ever received from a recruitment consultant. Initially I assumed I was his only candidate (as he was new to the role and fresh off the boat) and he was keen on getting me the role, but after offers of helping me decorate my christmas tree and seeing movies, it may be taking a different turn and perhaps I may have more then a job prospect in the lap?
Blimey!
