Let your hair hang long

Finally getting a hair cut tonight but scared of the little cats bum face of discontent that I will no doubt receive from my hairdresser Marc as I have LET IT GO for quite a while. In fact last time I got the "where have you been you little bitch"!!!
So does one go for a subtle change or something drastic and new so I can re-emerge like a butterfly from a cocoon to face the world as a new woman??
ooooh Shannon Noll is on the radio...He's a bogan but he's got this strange sense of magnetism.
Went to JB and bought CD's I don't like....well they are ok. But I'm not feeling that same sense of customer satisfaction that you get after buying a new frock, or a sparkly pair of earrings or several pieces of clothing that you coordinate in your mind with everything else in your wardrobe (like a fabric version of Perfect Match...without Greg Evans).
Kate Bush's new album is quite radio un-friendly but spiritual with lot's of garden noises and waterfalls. I think she's gone a bit too new age quite frankly. I think my dear housemate Karen also must think I've lost the plot when I put that one on last night. All we needed was to drop some acid and it would have made for a perfect evening. Although she did get worried the other day when she went to put on a CD and saw my Best of Stevie Nicks CD. YOu know you are getting old when some of the songs you love are played in rotation on Gold 104. I also bought a 3CD pack of 12inch eighties tracks (the second edition). My brother got the first one which had some catchy tracks like the original of Tina Cousins "Wonderful Life" and Talk Talk's "IT's my life". My new acquisition was sort of an embarassing collection of bad B sides and rambling eighties pop that really should be forgotten. Aside from Culture Clubs "I'd tumble for ya".
Geez...about due for some good stuff!
